Atlantic RBCA Website
â€œRisk based corrective action (RBCA or "Rebecca") is a process that helps make the clean up of contaminated properties more consistent and cost-effective. The Atlantic PIRI committee has adapted the RBCA process software tool to reflect for conditions in Atlantic Canada. The governments of each of the four Atlantic Provinces are promoting the RBCA approach, while maintaining their own regulations governing environmental protection.
The Atlantic Partners in RBCA Implementation (Atlantic PIRI) committee is composed of representatives from government, industry and consulting companies in the four Atlantic provinces, working together to bring the risk based corrective action process to this region.â€�
