Green Turtle Technologies Limited (GTT) has developed an innovative and effective flow-through acidic wastewater treatment system. Known as PHIX, it is designed to treat acidic wastewater in process and/or prior to discharge into a water body or municipal sewer system. The pH is effectively and efficiently adjusted to by law limits, or specific levels if required, resulting in the elimination of sewer surcharges or fines.
The PHIX System is unique in many ways, including its flow-through design, and its environmentally friendly PHIX Media. The system has been designed to allow better control over the effluent pH, and to do so with the use of an all-natural and safe Media that eliminates the need for special storage or handling, as required by traditional caustic chemicals.
The PHIX Systems are designed on the basis of wastewater flow, and composition. The system models will be recommended based on your site requirements, as will the options of both appurtenances and maintenance.
The PHIX system, in addition to its ease of use, and elimination of the use of hazardous chemicals, has a much lower capital and operational cost. Even if a retrofit is considered a PHIX system can be installed with no capital cost on a full service or maintenance agreement.
