Postnum: 158 EntryID:827
We are a manufacturing facility located 1-1/2 hours East of Vancouver on Hwy #1.

Our process involves raw materials which come to us wrapped around cardboard cores. Although we have found outlets for recycling of 'regular' cardboard, we have not been able to find an environmentally friendly way of disposing of these cores because of their glue content.

The cores are approximately 2-1/2" in diameter and 36" - 39.5" long. We have approx 200 right now and this amount would be available on a monthly basis.

Any ideas?

thanks, Carolin

What type of glue is in the material? If it is organic in nature, then compost it or compost it using worms.

I assume you won't want to ship them to Winnipeg, but we will be accepting them for use in products we will be making.
