Does anyone have or know where there is some information on the use of lignosulfonates as chelating agents for heavy metals?

Lignosulfonates must first be morphed before use as chelaing agents for heavy metals. Morphing is often very expensive but if the sample size is large enough, can end up doing more good then harm Peter P
