I am senior expert for environment (Sisak, Croatia) for steel- and Al-foundry. I am researching different method to recycle foundry slag and sand. I was hoping thet someone might be of some assistance. Thank you!

I have a friend who worked for an Aluminum foundry. His company donated the sand to the state highway department to mix with salt for road application in the winter. They did't make anything but did't have to pay for disposal either.
