My company used to take carpet nylon 6 and sold it to the U.S.A. but was discontinued a I continue to recycle all polyurethane underpad used in carpet installations by carpet retailers.

There has been recent developements for the use of carpet in the creating of a superior ashphalt product for using on roads & highways. Might be something to look into in your area.

Unfortunately the Ajax plant that generated the carpet was closed, for good, at the end of 2003.
