Postnum: 39 EntryID:479
I work for a high-tech firm in the Ottawa-area and in November we were told that the firm we have hired to recycle our plastics has been sending them to land-fill. The plastics that seem to be giving the most problems are that of grade #3 plastic, due to change in demand. What I am looking for is some sortof remedy that will keep us in good standing with our ISO 14001 Certification. I also know that this is affecting alot of companies, from all over. Any solutions are welcomed.

Thanks

Please see http://www.wasteplastictechnology.blogspot.com Also see www.plasticulture.org There are solutions being tabled by both PENN STATE University and GR - Technologies of Korea with their unique patented plastic burner. PENN STATE has developed a plastic fuel pellet from dirty waste plastics.
