Does anyone know how I can recycle my used camp stove fuel canisters? Does anyone know anywhere I can call to do this?

Hi WIlliam,

You didn't mention where you live - so this info is somewhat generic.

Most cities and municipalities operate either a permanent Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) depot or sponsor 1 or more HHW days per year where members of the community may bring unwanted and/or used hazardous waste products.

To find out if one operates in your area, you should contact your municipal/city/town council or office and ask for information on upcoming any upcoming events.

HHW's are typicaly free to residents.
