Leather scrap was used many years ago to make glue & gelatine, and there must be some market for it ! Also I know a process was patented many years ago in the US to recycle leather under heat & pressure to form a composite leather type material. Good luck.

If it is clean, unused leather scrap left from manufacturing, we will be accepting it at no cost.

I am looking at the possibility to collect leather scrap from Malaysia. The likely source would be factory using leather to wrap the sofa seat. Would appreciate if you could advise me on the possibility on this business venture as in the technology on recyling and its end product.
