Initial cost of site varies a lot. Site build in Eastern Canada ranges from 10 to 40 Million. Cell construction varies from 1 to 2 million. Provincial laws, geo and topo of the site, soil conditions,... all influence construction cost.

Cell life are in most cases is 2 years (constructed to handle the waste for that time)

Landfill sites are good for over all protection of the environment. Most of the waste going to these site should be diverted therefore not being landfilled.
