Posted by: damien lee on 1/19/04 Title: used vehicle oil recycling law? - ontario
Postnum: 215 EntryID:1021
what, if any, is the law about recycling oil in ontario? i heard that all garages, or generators, must accept oil for recycling from consumers.

i just came back from the local canadian tire where i tried to return my used vehicle oil for recycling. they turned me away and told me they "don't do that anymore."

i'd like to write them a letter, but need to know more about the law.
